Riwaayat means tradition — the kind passed hand to hand, stitch by stitch. Three promises have carried us from a single Instagram post to a community of fifty thousand.

It began in 2019 with one kurta, one phone camera, and a stubborn belief that Lucknow's most delicate craft deserved a louder room. Instagram became that room.
The gram as runway
No billboards, no agencies. Fifty thousand patrons found us post by post — voting on colours, naming designs, waiting up for drops like festivals.
Craft over commerce
We work directly with karigar clusters in the old city. Slow stitches, fair prices, no shortcuts — because a riwaayat is only as honest as the hands that carry it.
